No, I have yet to watch the Dark Knight Rises, but despite my attempts to avoid spoilers, it has been so hyped and talked about that I just gave up bothering about it. It is now ruined and not worth my time. Thank you, fuckers.
Anyways, I thought I would 'Nolanise' one of my favourite Batman villains, 'Baby Doll' from the Animated Series. Her story is that she is a disgraced sitcom actress who didn't grow up or age, but after she left her own show she evidently went off the deep end of depression and despair before finally breaking down in possible one of the best episodes of the best animated show ever.
Yeah, you can see why I have chosen her.
Her design, I wanted her to be cute AND creepy, just like the original. Cuteness, easily achieved by a schoolgirl persona and creepiness from a somewhat corporate image of her. The images of childlike innocence and adult cynicism being smushed together was what I was going for.
If there had to be an actress to play her, I would go with Chloe Grace Moretz, the girl who played Hit-Girl from Kick Ass. Makes the most sense to me.
